
Benjamin Guillot (b. 2004), originally from Chicago, IL, is currently pursuing his BFA at the Rhode Island School of Design. He is furthering his education through a combination of his studies at RISD and intensive drawing and painting programs during the summer months. He recently completed a nine-week intensive painting program at Studio Escalier in Argenton-Château, France, and the previous summer, he attended a four-week program at Grand Central Atelier in New York City.
He is majoring in painting with a minor in art history and plans to continue his studies by earning a master’s degree in painting.
Before enrolling at RISD, he won a National Scholastic Art & Writing Award for painting and was featured in their group exhibition. His work was also included in a group show for the Illinois High School Art Exhibition in Chicago, IL, where one of his paintings won Best in Show.
